Sunday - Zen Liturgy and Meditation

We have re-opened the Zen Center for hybrid (in-person / Zoom) Sunday services Please be fully vaccinated.

Two periods of Zazen (meditation) 25 minutes each separated by kinhin, or walking meditation

Dharma Talk with tea (15-25 minutes)

Buddhist Liturgy (10 minutes)

Weekday Meditation
(In-person only; meditation only, no service.)

Wednesday evening: 6 until 7 p.m. (Note new time!)

Friday morning: 7 until 8 a.m.​​

Rohatsu Sesshin: December 2nd - 8th
Rohatsu, commemorating the Buddha's awakening, is the most important holiday in our tradition. To honor this occasion, we will hold a Rohatsu Sesshin from December 2nd through the 8th. The sesshin will consist of:

Monday - Friday, December 2nd through 6th:

Meditation in the zendo​

Morning: 7 to 8 a.m.​

Evening: 6 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, December 7th:
-
All-day sesshin including semi-formal oryoki lunch.
